Our traditional futon is a 13 cm thick cotton bed mattress. By applying 5-10% polyester to our cotton, we ensure the higher density and thickness of our futons compared to traditional Japanese futon bedding. However, it still inherits all the good qualities of a traditional Japanese futon. The Traditional futon will give you firm sleeping comfort. The cotton in the futon will adjust itself to your body and support it.
Note that all of our futon products are handmade, so you might notice small differences in size and weight.
