Our Comfort futon is a 15 cm thick cotton bed mattress with a PU foam core. By applying 5-10% polyester to our cotton, we ensure the higher density and thickness of our futons compared to traditional Japanese futon bedding. However, it still inherits all the good qualities of a traditional Japanese futon. The Comfort futon will give you medium-firm sleeping comfort. The cotton in the futon will adjust itself to your body contours and support it, and the foam core will isolate slight movements.
Note that all of our futon products are handmade, so you might notice small differences in size and weight.
