All our beds are made form pinewood which is very soft and sensitive wood. Besides that all our beds have their own slatted frame, which is a part of construction.
Replacing the original slatted frame might cause wood damage or creaking noises. We would not recommend using other slatted frames then original, because is has not been tested and it is unknown how it will affect the design and construction of the bed.
