When it comes to materials and production methods, the choices we make at Karup Design play a decisive role in our overall sustainability as a furniture manufacturer. That is why we make a point of always making sensible choices.
All of our wooden furnitures are manufactured and produced in Poland.
• Every piece of wood in our furniture is FSC® mix-certified (Forest Stewardship Council®).
• We primarily use wood from Sweden and Estonia.
• We only use water-based varnish and paint for the wooden parts of our furniture.
• The filling in our sofas and futon chairs is primarily made from waste fibers from textile production, which have been tested according to TÜV Rheinland to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
